Wide boards, wonderfully calm.
Reclaimed flooring in wide planks from six to twelve inches or more, cut from big old-growth timbers for a quiet, high-end look.
- Widths: Commonly 6 to 12 inches or more
- Species: Pine, oak and chestnut by lot
- Drying: Kiln-dried and stabilized

What it is, and why it matters.
Wide planks make a floor feel generous. Fewer seams mean a calmer surface and let the grain and color of each board show. Boards this wide come from large old-growth timbers, which are exactly what reclaimed mills and barns provide.
We mill wide planks from selected timbers, dry them carefully to limit movement and sort them for color. In Nashville homes with open plans and large rooms, wide-plank floors create a sense of scale and calm. We talk through expansion gaps, subfloors and fastening so wide boards stay put.

Wide-Plank Flooring: common questions
Do wide planks move more?
Wider boards can move more with humidity, which is why drying, subfloors and fastening matter. We recommend a pro installer and explain what to expect.
Can I mix widths?
Yes. Many floors mix three or four widths for a handmade look, and we can pack random-width lots.
How do I get a price for wide-plank flooring?
Fill in the form or call or text 615-357-7797, ideally with photos and measurements. We confirm what is involved and send a written price.
Ready to talk about wide-plank flooring?
Photos and measurements, or a sample visit, and a written price. A real person calls back, usually the same day.
